Abby grew up in the Mid North on the family farm near a small town called Avon, completing her schooling in the nearby town of Balaklava. Abby completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 at The University of South Australia, and after working in the Barossa for 2 ½ years she relocated to Port Lincoln in May 2017.
Abby has undertaken further qualifications in dry needling practices, and is certified in Antenatal and Clinical Pilates. She is also experienced in hydrotherapy and gym exercise modalities.
With a passion for hands on physiotherapy, Abby is also a strong believer in working collaboratively with patients to achieve their goals. Her interests extend toward BPPV/vertigo treatment and sports.
With her understanding of the human body, injury management, along with her expertise in Pilates, Abby is able to help individuals with specific injury needs, as well as those looking for a new way to condition and maintain their mind and body.
Abby is a big believer that home exercises are the “treatment between treatments” and that they are a wonderful way for patients to gain relief in between sessions.
With a keen interest in sports in general, and enjoying a game of netball, Abby prides herself on being a country girl at heart who enjoys a good laugh.
