Danielle graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2017. After working in Sydney for a year she jumped at the opportunity to move back to her home town, Port Lincoln, and started with Eyre Sports Physio early in 2019.
Danielle has gained experience working with a wide variety of patients with issues ranging from general musculoskeletal injuries, neurological rehabilitation and has found a particular interest in rehabilitation of sports injuries and post-surgery rehabilitation. She has also gained additional training in Dry Needling and will be completing further studies in Sports Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates later this year.
As a physio, Danielle has a particular focus on the use of manual therapy to help facilitate an individual back to normal function as soon as possible, with the use of specific Home Based exercises to continue treating a problem at home in between physiotherapy sessions.
Danielle is a strong advocate for working collaboratively with her patients to ensure that the treatment completed in session is focused on returning that patient back to their specific goal, using her knowledge of the human body and injury management to reach that goal as quickly as possible.
