Many Physiotherapists treat sports injuries, drawing on their extensive knowledge of anatomy and the pathology of injury.
A Titled APA Sports Physiotherapist is one who has undertaken post-graduate level study in the field of sports injury management & prevention and has expert knowledge and skills in this area. Further to this they must undergo a rigorous selection process, then ensure they achieve and maintain exceptional standards of clinical experience and self-education.
At the helm of Eyre Sports Physio, Ally Russell has been a Titled APA Sports Physiotherapist since 1996. She currently consults on a part-time basis and appointments may be made directly with her.
Ally also provides behind-the-scenes support for all ESP Physios with regard to their ongoing education in the field of sports medicine, in addition to advising on and assisting with their patients where necessary.
Co-consults with your treating Physio and Ally can be arranged at no extra charge should a second opinion be required.
