Dr Dilip Kapur
Dr Dilip Kapur began a monthly consultation service in Port Lincoln in 2012.
Dr Kapur is currently the Dean at the ANZCA faculty. He was previously a Senior Lecturer in Pain Medicine at Flinders University, and also held the position of Director of the Pain Management Unit at Flinders Medical Centre. He is a very experienced pain medicine physician with an interest in interventional and multi-disciplinary pain medicine. Dr Kapur has published original research and review articles on the pharmacology and physiology of pain, interventional procedures and occupational injury management.
Dilip visits Mortlock Clinic once a Month, and bookings are completed via our clinic.
Dr Kapur welcomes GP referrals for private patients together with DVA and Workers Compensation clients. Where appropriate, clients may be referred on for specific services available in Adelaide although the emphasis will be on maintaining shared care in very much a local environment. At this stage public patients will continue to be seen via the Adelaide based services.
A GP referral via fax is necessary, after which Dr Kapur’s staff will call to arrange an appointment. Payment is generally required in full on the day.
